2.2 Description of the goods or services required

The Vale of Glamorgan Council (“the Council”) requires environmental

improvements at the Chickenwood Play Area (“the Works”) in Barry.

The Works comprise:

• Site clearance

• Removal of surfaces

• Excavation, regrading

• Removal of surplus material from site

• New surfaces, steps and walls, including seating walls and blockstones

• Fencing and handrails

• Planting of trees and shrubs and seeding
