Description of the goods or services required

Woodchill CIC invites quotations for the supply and delivery of a fully fitted glamping pod, suitable for use at an eco-focused wellness retreat in Caerphilly, South Wales.

The glamping pod must:

• Accommodate 4-6 people.

• Include a fully fitted kitchen area.

• Include a bathroom with a shower, sink, and flushing toilet.

• Be constructed using high-quality, durable, and eco-conscious materials where possible.

• Be fully insulated for year-round occupancy.

• Be pre-assembled or on-site assembly.

• Be ready for connection to mains water and electricity.

• Be suitable for connection to a septic tank or small sewage treatment plant for waste management.

• Ideally have the ability to integrate an external hot tub area or decking space.

Environmental sustainability will be an important part of the evaluation. Suppliers should provide full product specifications, delivery and installation timelines, warranty information, and details of eco-friendly features and materials used.

Supply, delivery, and installation of one glamping pod capable of accommodating between four and six people, with a preference for six. The pod must include a fully fitted kitchen, a bathroom with a shower, sink, and flushing toilet, and be insulated for year-round use. It must be constructed using eco-conscious materials where possible. The scope should also allow for provision of an external hot tub or decking area if feasible. The estimated contract value is between 30 000 and 40 000 depending on final specifications, delivery, and installation requirements.

Minimum standards and qualification required

Suppliers must demonstrate experience in the manufacture and delivery of glamping pods or modular structures.

Suppliers must provide visual examples (photographs or portfolio) of previous similar projects.

Suppliers must provide evidence of appropriate insurance cover, including public liability and product liability insurance.

Suppliers must confirm the ability to deliver and install the pod in South Wales by the required timescale.

Suppliers must confirm the use of eco-conscious materials where possible.

Suppliers must confirm they are able to offer design options and allow for buyer input into final specifications.

Suppliers must provide warranty details for the pod and installation.
