Refurbishment of Public Toilet Facilities at George Edwards Hall, Cefn Mawr – Contractor Quotations

Description of the goods or services required

Cefn Community Council invites suitably qualified contractors to submit quotations for the refurbishment of four public toilet facilities located within George Edwards Hall, Cefn Mawr.

The scope of works includes a full strip-out and modernisation of the existing facilities to ensure they are safe, accessible, and suitable for continued community use.

Total quantity or scope of tender

Scope of Works:

• Toilet Refurbishment:

o Full strip-out of four existing toilet rooms

o Installation of new sanitaryware and associated plumbing throughout

o Supply and installation of 4 modular toilet cubicle doors, including frames and fittings

• Plumbing Works:

o Replacement of all WCs, basins, taps, and associated pipework

o Removal and disposal of all existing plumbing fixtures

• Electrical Works:

o Upgrade and replacement of electric hand dryers, light fittings, and switches

o Ensure all installations comply with current electrical safety regulations

• Joinery and Fire Doors:

o Supply and installation of new fire-rated internal doors for each toilet area

o Each of the four toilet areas must be fitted with internally styled, fire-resistant doors, including self-closing devices

o Installation of all necessary ironmongery (locks, handles, signage)

• Walls and Ceilings:

o Decoration of the upper walls and ceilings in all four toilet areas

o Installation of half-height PVC wall panelling around all toilet and basin areas

• General:

o Supply and installation of all materials required for the works

o Removal and disposal of all redundant materials and waste from site

o Works to be carried out with minimal disruption to the building and its users
