Total quantity or scope of tender
The works will include but are not limited to:
• System Design & Specification
o ≥300 kW battery energy storage system (second life proposals considered) with up to 200kw of power output required.
o Lithium-ion or equivalent proven technology with robust safety and lifecycle performance.
o Modular design for future scalability.
o System efficiency >90% round-trip.
o Compliance with G99 and DNO requirements.
• Supply & Installation
o Battery modules, racks, and housing (containerised or indoor, subject to site integration).
o Inverters/PCS units compatible with both grid and on-site renewable systems.
o Control and protection systems.
o Fire suppression and ventilation systems as required.
o Balance of system (cabling, switchgear, isolators).
o Installation, commissioning, and testing.
• Integration
o Full connection to existing and planned solar PV system (256 kW) and future hydrogen electrolysis system.
o Grid connection capability with DNO approval and metering.
o Integration with smart energy management platform.
o Remote monitoring and control accessible by Hyppo Hydrogen Solutions.
• Additional Requirements
o Warranties: minimum 10-year system warranty with guaranteed performance (e.g. >70% capacity after 10 years).
o Safety compliance: IEC, UL, UK fire and electrical standards.
o Training for Hyppo staff on operation and maintenance.
o Operation & Maintenance manual.
o Ongoing maintenance and support package (optional, to be priced separately).
