Tender Submission
Please submit your proposal by answering the following:
Section 1: Pricing 30%
The scoring will be based on a single price which includes the following elements:
• Creation of a Minecraft Education World to educate and engage learners about enterprise and entrepreneurship through the Minecraft platform, to include engagement with young people and other stakeholders
• Training materials and guides for teachers
• Costs for creating bespoke media assets
• A fixed-price three-year maintenance package
Section 2: Quality 70%
There is no requirement to add any additional information other than the answers to the section headers below.
1.Relevant experience of working on similar projects – 30%
Please provide 3 examples of where you have worked on Minecraft Education projects that engaged learners, including the learning objectives for each project and how these were achieved – max 400 words per project - 10% awarded for each project.
2. Project Delivery – 10%
Please provide a high-level project plan, showing how you would engage with Careers Walers to deliver the product within the expected timescale - max 300 word
3. Collaboration -10%
Please provide an example of how you have developed a Minecraft product via collaboration with multiple stakeholders
4. Personnel – 10%
Please provide details of personnel assigned to the project, including relevant qualifications and experience of working on Minecraft developments – max 300 words
5.Environment – 5%
What are some of the best practices or initiatives that you have implemented or plan to implement to promote sustainability in your operations?
6.Ethical Employment 5%
Please describe how you will commit to fair working practices for workers, including sub-contractors engaged in the delivery of this contract, and how you ensure that any contractors or employees have the right to work in the UK
Scoring
The contract will be awarded based on the following scoring methodology:
Section A: Price 30%
Price will be scored using the “lowest Price Benchmark Method”. With the lowest price receiving the highest score and the others scored proportionally.
The formula is:
Price = (Lowest Tender Price / Tenderer’s Price) X Maximum Price Point
e.g. Maximum Price Point = 30
Lowest Tender Price - £100,000
Second Tender Price - £120,000
Lowest Tender Price would receive 30 marks
Second Tender Price would receive (£100,000/£120,000) X 30 = 25 marks
Section B: Quality 70%
The following marks are allocated to each section:
•Experience - 30%
• Project Delivery - 10%
• Collaboration – 10%
• Personnel – 10%
•Environment - 5%
•Ethical Employment - 5%
The scoring methodology
Level Score Description
Excellent 100 An excellent comprehensive response that meets the requirements. Indicates an excellent response with detailed supporting evidence and no weaknesses resulting in a high level of confidence.
Good 75 A good response that meets the requirements with good supporting evidence. Demonstrates good understanding.
Met 50 Meets the requirements - the response generally meets the requirements, but lacks sufficient detail to warrant a higher mark.
Poor 25 A poor response with reservations. The response lacks convincing detail with risk that the proposal will not be successful in meeting all the requirements.
Failed 0 Failed to provide confidence that the proposal will meet the requirements. An unacceptable response with serious reservations.
The tender will be awarded to the company achieving the highest score out of a maximum 100%.
