Abstract

The Healthcare Technology Centre located in Swansea University Medical School provides a platform for companies built upon Swansea’s strengths in Biosensors and Devices, Bio-Informatics, Bio-Analytics and Bio-Banking. HTC provides dedicated state of the art facilities housed in their newly refurbished laboratory, on its Singleton Campus. Its aim is to speed up the translation of ideas from healthcare and life sciences sectors into new technology, products and services providing a platform for companies and researchers to complete the Technology Development & Adoption Pipeline. This procurement is for the provision and installation of a specifically designed system for dose-controlled and spatially uniform deposition of liquid aerosols on cells cultured at the air/liquid interface.

This equipment relates to the delivery of the European Regional Development Fund co-funded ACCELERATE project involving Operations supported by the West Wales & Valleys and South East Wales ERDF EU Structural Funds Programme.
