Abstract

The Assembly has ongoing cabling requirements to support and enhance its’ Local Area and Data Centre Networks. The Assembly is looking to put a contract in place for the provision of cabling and installation. The contract will cover individual ad-hoc cabling requirements, mainly for smaller works. For larger projects, the Assembly may carry out a separate procurement exercise. The Assembly’s telephone services are provided by a skype telephone system, hence traditional telephony cable installations are at a minimum. The Assembly provides a full WiFi service. The installation of cabling and access points will be required to support further updates and the development of this. Cabling works for some smaller refurbishments and building projects may be required.
