Cardiff University is undertaking a competitive tender process to engage a supplier to supply and deliver a robot capable of performing movement and manipulation tasks for Human-Robot Interaction. These movements are required to pick up anything from ordinary objects in the home to simulated barrels. The purpose of these capabilities is to have a robot that may be able to assist a person, prevent or even cause accidents to happen.
