Provision of an Insurance Claims System at Wrexham County Borough Council

Description of the goods or services required

Wrexham County Borough Council is looking at a system to manage its insurance claims. We are issuing this request for information only, to prepare our business case, including indicative costs, and to inform the Authority of appropriate routes to market, prior to a procurement exercise being undertaken.

We would like to hear from companies that can offer a solution fulfilling our requirements. Companies may already have software which can be used with our system or may suggest an alternative solution that can be adapted to our requirements. We welcome any other thoughts on our proposal.

Areas that we would like to see covered in a response would be (but not limited to):

• Manage workflows

• Immediate upload and download so system is live

• Storage of photos and claims documents

• Trend mapping. Identify location hotpots, claimant, witness and

related parties

• Mapping and volume analysis by claim type

• Identify action

• Indicative price – please note, we wish only to gauge a rough idea of the value of procuring a solution and would not hold any respondent to this quoted cost in the event of a tender being issued

Please note that, by issuing this request for guidance, no supplier selection or supplier preference is implied. This is an opportunity for the Authority to better understand the supply market and for providers to showcase their ideas.
