The project involves the design and construction of a new Community Campus, a primary school and integrated community centre in Bontnewydd, Gwynedd.
We are seeking tenders for the provision of Structural and Civil Engineering services for this project. Both the buildings and the process of construction will be exemplars in sustainability and innovative design.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations. The Community Benefits included in this contract are:
Gwynedd has a strong programme of achieving Community Benefits through its schools construction projects. This includes training and work experience in all areas of the project which we expect to be offered by all the main consultants on the project, in addition to the main contractor and sub-contractors.
The buyer considers that this contract is suitable for consortia bidding.
