Contract for the Supply of One off Large Adapted Panel Van

Description of the goods or services required

The Invitation to Tender is comprised of 2 different specifications and it is the Council’s intention to enter into a contract for 1 vehicle

Tenderers shall specify the Annual Contract Hire Price per Vehicle (excluding VAT) for a 5 year term excluding Service, Maintenance and Repair. Vehicle (excluding VAT) for a 5 year term excluding Service, Maintenance and Repair.

SPECIFICATION 1 : DIESEL L3H2 LARGE ADAPTED PANEL VAN

SPECIFICATION 2 : ELECTRIC L3H2 LARGE ADAPTED PANEL VAN

Each Vehicle is anticipated to have an average use of 12,000 miles per annum, and the Contract shall be based on this usage.

Contract shall be for a period of five years. The Contract Price shall remain fixed for the duration of the Contract.

To assist the Council in assessing Specification compliance, the Council may require a Tenderer to provide a demonstrator vehicle Demonstrator vehicles shall be provided at no cost to the Council and must be sufficiently similar to the vehicle offered by the Tenderer to allow for an assessment of Specification compliance.

Register your company on the eTenderWales portal (this is only required once):

2. Express an interest in the project:

— Login to the portal with your username/password.

— Click the “ITTs Open to All Suppliers” link (these are the ITTs open to any registered supplier).

— Click on the relevant ITT to access the content.

— Click the “Express Interest” button in the “Actions” box on the left-hand side of the page.

— This will move the ITT into your “My ITTs” page (this is a secure area reserved for your projects only).

— Click on the ITT code. You can now access any attachments by clicking the “Settings and Buyer Attachments” in the “Actions” box.

3. Responding to the invitation to tender:

— You can now choose to “Reply” or “Reject” (please give a reason if rejecting).

— You can now use the “Messages” function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification.

— Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT.

— There may be a mixture of online and offline actions for you to perform (there is detailed online help available).
