The university has identified a requirement for the provision of specialist researcher training and bid

development support consultancy services for the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS).

Working alongside the Associate Dean for Research & Innovation and the FHSS Research and

Innovation (R&I) Hub (research support) team, the successful consultant will support growing the quality

and value of funding applications and awards and embed good practice via tailored pre-award

researcher training. The consultant will provide professional leadership, management, advice, and

support to both academic and professional service staff relating to research grant capture and the

external funding environment.
