Flying Start Provision at Swffryd School Nursery

Blaenau Gwent Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced company to provide a Flying Start service at a new Educational establishment at Swffryd.

‘Flying Start’ is a programme for families with children aged up to four years old, which is targeted at Wales' most deprived communities. The programme is one of the Welsh Government’s top priorities and encompasses free childcare, parenting support, intensive health visitor support and support for early language development.

Total quantity or scope of tender

Blaenau Gwent Council are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced company to provide a Flying Start service at a new Educational establishment at Swffryd as specified within the tender documentation.

The duration of the contract is for a period of three years (reviewed annually) from January 2024 with the option to extend for a further period of two years at 12 month intervals - the duration is dependant on Welsh Government funding.

The anticipated start date of this project is the 1st of April 2016 this is subject to completion of renovations and CSSIW registration approval. If the start date is delayed due to CSSIW registration we will confirm with the appointed supplier that the term of the contract will be from the first day of the provision.
