Total quantity or scope of tender
The Council has been awarded a Total Eligible Expenditure of £1,143,828.00 , with £848,999 being allocated for the main funding body, the HLF .
The Council now requires Services to assess the impact and outcome of this project, by developing a monitoring plan for the project to enable evaluation against specified outcomes.
The Services must consider if the project has delivered against the aforementioned spend whilst also measuring impact and evaluation of the projectagainst the following Approved Purposes:
i. Recruitment of a Project Manager and Project Officer
ii. Establishment of two apprenticeships
iii. Development a Schools engagement programme involving local schools
iv. Acknowledgment of the support of Welsh Government and The National Lottery Heritage Fund funding on any sites, website content, social media content and hard copy publications, in both Welsh and English
v. Implementation of practical conservation and infrastructure works including tree planting, fencing and gates, cut and collecting/baling, seeding, building nest boxes and hibernacula, water quality testing, excavation, survey work, holt and lay-up building and pond creation
vi. Access improvements to the river system, SSSI's, SINCs and areas of high nature value through both physical infrastructure and path improvements
vii. Involvement of volunteers to carry out activities alongside landowners and contractors
viii. Implement a wide range of community engagement activities including monitoring and surveys, citizen science and events
ix. Project promotion through a dedicated website, blog, social media and information boards in the project area
