Abstract

Architectural services for the replacement and refurbishment of buildings on Ysgol Tryfan Campus, Bangor, Gwynedd, to provide buildings suitable for the needs of a 21st Century curriculum to a high standard of sustainability, and to improve pedestrian and vehicular access. Mae'r gwahoddiad i dendro hwn yn ceisio penodi ymgynghorydd i ddarparu gwasanaethau Pensaernïol ar gyfer amnewid ac adnewyddu adeiladu Campws Ysgol Tryfan, Bangor, Gwynedd, i ddarparu adeiladau sydd yn addas ar gyfer cwricwlwm 21ain Ganrif i safon uchel o gynaliadwyedd, a gwella mynediad i’r safle i gerddwyr a cherbydau. The project involves the design and construction of a new school buildings to replace existing facilities which are not deemed suitable for providing education in the 21C. These include but are not limited to a new hall/sports hall together with changing facilities, new technology classrooms, relocation of the refectory, and the provision of other classrooms (yet to be identified). This will involve the demolition of the later extensions to the original School and adjacent 1980’s blocks. The project may require the design and construction of temporary school facilities to maintain all services on site during the construction process. The provisional value of the construction contract is £17M, to include temporary facilities.
