NWSSP Procurement Services intends to utilise the restricted procedure under the Utilities Contract Regulations 2016.
The requirement is to supply approximately 571 NHS Wales sites.
NHS Wales undertakes its own energy pricing procurement and engages directly with the supplier to secure prices and volumes on its
behalf. A brokerage service is not required and any potential supplier will be required to hold an OFGEM Supply Licence.
Natural Gas volumes for all sites are secured under one portfolio, currently secured in advance on a flexible basis.
