The Young People’s service is one of the of the Vale’s longest running housing related support services and is a
key component of supported accommodation provision in the Vale. The service in its current configuration has
been in place since 2016 and the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s aim is to have a new contract in place to
commence from the 1st of April 2021.
The new contract will run for 3 years and include the option for an additional two 12 month extensions, making 5
years the maximum possible duration of this contract.
The service consists of three projects:

times.The Vale of Glamorgan Council has decided on an upper pricing envelope of 310,000.00 GBP annually. Bids over
this amount will be ruled out.
