Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council will be establishing a Parenting Support Approved Provider List in order to commission a range of services to support the Resilient Families Service.

The Resilient Families Service provides the mechanism by which a single approach to delivering multi-agency family support is achieved in RCT.

In order to achieve a multi-agency approach RCT require additional support services to deliver Informal Parenting support and parenting programmes, in addition to delivering therapeutic interventions.

The Approved List will be structured into 3 lots, with Lots broken down into Services:

Lot 1 - Informal Parenting Support

Lot 2 – Parenting Programmes

Lot 3 - Therapeutic Interventions

The duration of the Approved List shall be an initial 1 year with an option to extend for up to 1 + 1 + 1 years.

RCTCBC is setting up an Approved List for Parenting Support Services.

The purpose of this Approved List is to allow the Council to assemble and maintain an approved list of Providers to provide Parenting Support Services as detailed within the Specification.

There are no limits on the number of Providers to be appointed onto the approved list and Providers may apply for one or multiple Lots / Services. Furthermore, Providers may apply at any time during the Approved List operating period.

The typical services required under the Approved List shall range from low to mid value contracts allowing a range of service providers of all sizes to bid.

It should be noted that the appointment to this Approved Provider List does not guarantee successful providers any work.
