Abstract

Cafcass Cymru intends to re-procure their commissioned service -of a Co-Parenting Education Programme which is used during family court proceedings in support of families experiencing divorce and separation in Wales and where parties are unable to reach agreement about who their child(ren) should live with or spend time with. The purpose of this programme is to improve a family’s ability to seek resolution and prepare them to achieve safe, beneficial and sustainable communication and arrangements for their child(ren). The programme delivery has changed since the Covid 19 Pandemic and is generally delivered remotely but is also available for delivery via a face-to-face model. During the life of the contract the content of the co-parenting programme will be updated to include new and powerful materials to help promote positive change. All programme materials will be supplied by Cafcass Cymru and guidance provided on the use and delivery of the programme. Providers should have experience of working with families who are in conflict, have experience of dispute resolution work and experience of partnership working. Cafcass Cymru is seeking feedback from interested suppliers and stakeholders before undertaking a tender process for the Working Together for Children (WT4C) programme to be in place by July 2023. A market engagement session is planned for 11:00am Monday 09 January 2023, interested suppliers are encouraged to attend this session which will be held remotely. This notice is for prior information only to engage with the market and is not a call for competition at this stage. It is anticipated that a contract notice inviting competition will be published in January 2023 when tender documents will be made available. If a supplier is interested in attending the market engagement session, could you please email christine.wells@gov.wales.
