Title

Provision of Bus Services in Wrexham County Borough

2.2

Description of the goods or services required

Wrexham County Borough Council requires the provision of bus services in the following areas:

Moss, Wrexham

Trevalyn, Wrexham

Erbistock, Wrexham

Maelor, Wrexham

Welsh Government Youth Scheme: Participation in the Welsh Government youth concession scheme is required.

Concessionary Travel: Participation in the Council's FREE TRAVEL concessionary travel scheme will be required. Route MUST be registered with the Traffic Commissioner as a registered bus service.

Tickets Machines: Operators MAY be required to pay lease costs for ticket machines where they do not have their own ticketing system in place.

Voluntary Welsh Bus Quality Standard: As a minimum, contractors shall fully comply with the Core requirement of the Voluntary Welsh Bus Quality Standard.

Bus Emergency Scheme Funding (BES): Operators will be required to engage with Welsh Government & Transport for Wales and comply with any instruction/requests that may be required.
