Title
Installation and commissioning of new Process Water Storage

Description of the goods or services required
The Pembrokeshire Creamery Ltd. plant is a purpose-built 3000m2 dairy processing site, to be commissioned 4th quarter 2022, and fully operational by December 2022 on a green field site at Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire.
It aims to process approx. 1,000,000 litres of liquid milk per week with options to increase milk bottling capacity and processing of cream products in the future.
The process water storage project is a significant part of a major project to design, construct and commission a milk processing plant at the Haverfordwest site, and will be delivered in conjunction with other major works on site.

Total quantity or scope of tender
The process water storage project is a significant part of a major project to design, construct and commission a milk processing plant at the Haverfordwest site, and will be delivered in conjunction with other major works on site but splits into five distinct phases with some of the work being carried out directly by the Purchaser and some work by the supplier, as follows:
Phase 1
The Purchaser (contractor TBA) will be excavating the project area and constructing new buildings, concrete plinths, ducts and drains, and pathways to provide support and housing for all new equipment.
Phase 2
The Supplier will supply, offload, and install process water storage and associated equipment.
Phase 3
The Purchaser (contractor TBA) will supply and install new instrumentation cables.
Phase 4
The Supplier will install all safety equipment to enable full operation of plant.
Phase 5
The Purchaser (contractor TBA) will complete supply and installation of all distribution pipework from the Process Water Storage tank/silo.
The works will be carried out as part of a Notified CDM project.

3 Conditions for Participation

Minimum standards and qualification required
A proposed supplier shall be deemed to have satisfied itself before submitting its tender as to the accuracy and sufficiency of the prices and rates stated in the pricing schedule contained in that tender which shall (except in so far as it is otherwise provided in the contract) cover all obligations under the contract and a proposed supplier shall also be deemed to have obtained for itself all necessary information as to risks, contingencies and any other circumstances which might reasonably influence or affect its tender.
The proposed supplier is responsible for obtaining all information necessary for the preparation of its tender and all costs, expenses and liabilities incurred by a proposed Supplier in connection with the preparation and submission of a tender shall be borne by the proposed supplier.
