Description of the contract

Procured using G-Cloud 13, Welsh Government has awarded a contract to the supplier for the provision of services which provide a different way of displaying the Ordnance Survey data which is optimised for users with colour vision deficiency (CVD), to ensure the base mapping used in desktop GIS software and online services remain as accessible as possible.

The contract is for 12 months with the option for two further 12 month extensions. The contract value is for the maximum possible 3 year duration.

Under the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (“PCR 2015”), a contracting authority is not required to issue an award notice for Call-Off Contracts awarded using frameworks, but the Welsh Government has undertaken to voluntarily comply with WPPN 02/22 in relation to the above referenced mini competition under this framework.
