Abstract

The requirement is for a consultant / consultancy to work on behalf of the Welsh Blood Service within the MW-ATTC programme to develop the work as described below for a period of 16 months, starting from September 2018 through to and including January 2020 (with the option to extend for a further 3 months). To provide professional advice on the following; to support the identification, collation and summarise published commentaries and research on Health Technology Assessment methods and processes concerning Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products and to develop / establish a White Paper on the ‘The Methods of Economic Evaluation of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products’ The supplier will be required to supply guidance / advisory services with appropriate expert knowledge and skills to undertake the tasks required; • Undertake a systematic review of appropriately recognised published Health Technology Assessment reports and of products qualifying Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products to identify and establish current methods of assessment and evaluation. • To conduct a comprehensive review of appropriate literature research to include commentaries, opinion articles and policies for decision relating to Heath Technology Assessment and the appraisal of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products. • Production of a White Paper on the ‘methods of Economic Evaluation of Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products’.
