The existing lift as detailed below is to be fully refurbished, tested and commissioned.
Passenger Lift.
1 x 630 kg / 8 person top drive traction passenger lift with an operating speed of 1 m/s serving 3 floors designated
as 0, 1 & 2.
The works described in this specification comprise but are not limited to:
Replacement of the existing control panel with a modern open protocol microprocessor utilising the latest
technology.
Replacement of existing signalisation and shaft equipment including all associated wiring, trunking and conduit.
Replacement of the existing geared drive assembly including diverter, ropes and support steelwork.
Replacement of the existing safety gear
Replacement of the existing overspeed governor
Replacement of the car and counterweight buffers
Replacement of the car door operator.
Replacement of car and landing door lock contacts, hanger rollers and door shoes.
Replacement of car and counterweight guide shoes
Replacement of all landing control stations and indicators.
Retention and inspection of the existing car sling including cleaning, treating and painting of steelwork.
Re-lining of the existing lift car interior including car walls, ceiling, lighting, flooring, car operating panel and all
interior fittings.
Re-skin of the existing of the car and landing door panels.
Re-skin of the existing landing door frames
Clean and inspect car and landing sills for corrosion and replace steels as required.
