Insurance Cover Clarification and Tender Response Bid Clarification
Further to a couple of clarification response messages that was answered through S2W on insurance cover levels over the last week, we are aware that in some instances the insurance cover options stipulated may not be readily available in the insurance market.

Therefore for avoidance of doubt, the University still welcomes tender responses from bidders who may not have or cannot obtain the EL and PL cover options of £50m and £20m and Professional Indemnity of £10m respectively and the tender bids will still be considered if you have lower levels of cover.

If you are able to obtain the above covers please include the quote costs in section 8.5.2 of the ITT Response document.

As part of your response to the insurance section please stipulate the current level of cover that you have in place and what is the maximum cover you are able to obtain with the appropriate quote costs provided in 8.5.2.

With regard to Professional Indemnity Cover this will need to be PI run off cover to include 12 years duration following the expiry of the contract.

The University looks forward to receiving your tender responses.
