Swansea Council has published this Prior Information Notice (‘PIN’) to seek to establish market options for an Electronic Call Monitoring, Staff Rostering and Care Planning System for its internal Domiciliary Care Service. The Council supports approximately 300 individuals at any one time and this is provided by a number of different services and teams within each service. We have approximately 270 care staff, 8 managers and 15 admin staff. Our current arrangements are due to end on 31st March 2021 and we looking for a solution to be procured, tested and implemented by 1st April 2021 for a period of 3 years with the option to extend for a further 2 years.
We would be interested in hearing from you if:
- You have an existing electronic call monitoring, staff rostering and care planning solution
- Your solution supports various rota patterns, including an 18 week rolling rota
- You are able to offer a solution that is cloud based with UK data centres and includes a mobile application to be used by front line care staff
- You are able to meet the time scales as stated above
Following a failed procurement exercise earlier this year, the Council is seeking to determine the most appropriate approach to any future procurement exercise and therefore seeks the views of interested parties to help inform the process. To this end, interested parties are invited to initially submit a response to Michelle Glen, at michelle.glen@swansea.gov.uk, no later than 10th July 2020. Please provide:
1. Name of your organisation and brief description of its background and experience
2. An outline of the key features of your solution
3. An approximate cost for a contract term and indicative values as specified above
4. Any other comments/suggestions
