Abstract

Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales (AC-NMW) are seeking to introduce a job evaluation system to ensure jobs of equal value have equal pay and provide a transparent framework to evaluate the grading of jobs. There is therefore a need to put in place a rigorous, transparent process that has the support of senior executives and employee representatives. AC-NMW wish to procure a licence to use or commission the design of a job evaluation scheme that can be used for both the initial evaluation exercise of circa 250 jobs, and on an ongoing basis to evaluate new and revised jobs as required in the future. SCOPE AND DELIVERABLES • Undertake the initial exercise of evaluating the circa 250 Jobs • Comparative pay and reward benchmarking analysis against 250 jobs on defined job evaluation points • Policy and Procedure Documentation • Support AC-NMW in analysing the results of the initial job evaluation exercise outcomes and in understanding and analysing the corresponding reward market data • Training panels of up to 10 persons per panel – several panels may be required • Provision of or access to software / bespoke tool for the trained AC-NMW staff to undertake future job evaluations or market benchmarking exercises.
