Description of the goods or services required

Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council, hereinafter referred to as the ‘Council’, invites Tenders in accordance with the Council’s Requirements and subject to the terms and conditions, to set up a contractual agreement for the following requirement:-

*Air Source Heat Pump at St. Mary’s CIW, Brynmawr*

*Please note that this would be the Authorities preferred option in relation to achieving Welsh Government’s Net Zero Carbon Policy. Please note that this option will only be viable subject to the provision of funding from Welsh Government.*

If the above is a viable option for the Authority (dependent upon Welsh Government Funding) the works must be completed by September 2023. Tenderers will be required to evidence that they are able to commit to this requirement.

This Procurement exercise is being run by the Authority's e-tendering portal Bravo Solutions https://etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk.

All documentation has been uploaded to enable direct access following registration.

NB: You must download all documentation directly from the portal, tender documents will not be communicated by any other means.

Deadlines for submissions is 12 noon the 11th July 2022 with clarifications allowed until 5:00pm on the 4th July 2022.

Under the terms of this contract the successful supplier(s) will be required to deliver Community Benefits in support of the Authority’s economic and social objectives. Accordingly, contract performance conditions may relate in particular to social and environmental considerations.
