The form of Contract for this Scheme will be NEC4 Engineering and Construction Short Contract, June 2017. Conditions of Contract are the core clauses and Z Clauses.

Any reference to ‘Contract Administrator’, ‘Project Officer’ or ‘Engineer’ within Volumes 1 - 4 shall be taken as having the same meaning as ‘Project Manager’ in the conditions of contract. Any reference to ‘Overseeing Organisation’ shall be taken as having the same meaning as ‘Client’.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The project is entitled Playground Works - Rowen

The project involves taking down and removing the existing failed single leaf brick retaining wall in Rowen Playground, located approximately five miles south of Conwy. The works will include but are not limited to:

• Erecting welfare unit and site compound.

• Take down and remove existing bow top fencing and gate.

• Take down and remove existing single leaf brick retaining wall.

• Reinforce and re-profile retained earth to a 1:1 embankment.

• Construct two new brick piers to tie-into existing wall

• Install new bow top fencing and gate.

• Reinstate any top soil disturbed by works.
