Description of the goods or services required

A tender is invited to deliver the Iechyd Da Veterinary Syndromic Surveillance aspect for the Arwain DGC project. For this specific part of the project Iechyd Da are seeking tender proposals from companies who have specific knowledge of the Veterinary industry and can use technology to harvest data from Vet Practice Management Systems. Additional Information

Integrations and Standardisation:

- Connection with Veterinary Practice Management Systems to populate a SQL database of clients, subaccounts/patients, products and services.

- Standardisation of prescription products to veterinary medicine directorate list, divided into standardised units of dispensing (e.g. ml, grams, doses etc).

- Connection with government databases for official animal identifications for animals (at least cattle at a minimum) which are present on each farm for which the vet has received permission and authentication credentials from the farmer (owner of the animals).

Mobile Application:

- Mobile application required on iOS via the AppStore and on Android via PlayStore for both the most common tablet and mobile phone devices. These devices should have a built-in database (e.g. SQLite) ensuring every data entry keystroke are recorded during use such that in the event of battery failure the data is held on the device until the application is reopened (e.g. after charging of device).

- Allow users to select client, subaccount and enter details of services and products (complete with location) complete with clinical signs, diagnosis/reason for treatment and other associated data.

- Further features would include creation of delivery notes, prescription documents, label printing and recording of treatments/treatment reminder alerts.

- Ability to return data (via either WiFi or Cellular connectivity) to SQL database.

Web Application, Database & Export:

- Web application to manage data from same SQL database, via Administrator, Vet, Support Staff and Farmer users (with user credential controls to access data relevant to the user)

- Ability to navigate to data and filter the clinical signs by date and export to Excel or CSV and send anonymously (no details of vet practice, vet or farmer) to data processor (WVSC)

- Ability to administrate the lists of clinical signs and diagnoses (and other associated data).
