Abstract

The purpose of this contract is to provide a medical workforce resourcing service. This contract provides a vendor neutral approach and a full team that provides on-site support. The contract includes medical staff and Allied Health Professionals, as well as a provision to provide medical bank staff. This service includes: - Healthcare staff resourcing - Supply chain compliance - Compliance (agency vetting) - Shift Booking software Reporting (total agency spend, volume of shifts, benchmarking, pay rates, fill rates, financial compliance, locations, breach of rates) - Management of Agency payments This contract was awarded via the Crown Commercial Services Framework Agreement RM6161 – Provision of Clinical and Healthcare Staffing - Lot 6 Neutral Vendor Services on 1st April 2021 - 31st March 2022.

This contract award notice relates to the extension of this contract between 1st April 2022 - 31st August 2022.

The initial contract was implemented for 12 months under the CCS RM6161 framework agreement, from 1st April 2021 - 31st March 2022 with a view to aligning with the renewal of the All-Wales agreement for Medical Workforce Resourcing. The original contract was awarded for up to £969,000 EX VAT.

The start date for the new All Wales Agreement has been delayed therefore a short term extension is required to ensure continuity of services for Cwm Taf Morgannwg.

The proposed extension period will run from 1st April 2022 – 31st August 2022. The value of the extension will be up to £404,000 EX VAT.
