SERVICE & MAINTENANCE OF LAUNDRY EQUIPMENT

•Annual service and duct clean of Commercial Laundry Equipment located at the premises listed in Appendix 1.

•Provision of a repair call-out service, responding to any emergency requests within 4 hours and non-emergency requests for repairs within 48 hours.

•Engineers must be suitably qualified to service and repair both Gas and Electrical commercial laundry equipment and copies of relevant accreditation (e.g. Gas Safe Register, NICEIC) must be submitted with your tender and on competent person scheme annual renewal. The contractor must provide at least 2 weeks notification of any new operatives to be deployed on the contract.

•Ateb require a gas safety record to be submitted, on the day of service and/or repair, for each relevant appliance.

•Ateb require an electrical service record to be submitted, on the day of service and/or repair, for each relevant appliance.

•Ateb require a certified in-service electrical inspection and test of each fixed, moveable or portable appliance.

•Ateb require a duct cleaning certificate on the day of service, cleaning and/or repair, for each relevant appliance.

•The contractor must notify the compliance team of any required repairs, safety defects or other issues from site so that works orders can be issued or escalated to the appropriate person(s).
