Mae Cyngor Gwynedd un edrych i gomisiynu ymgynghorwyr i ymgymryd a'r gwaith o greu astudiaeth dichonoldeb ar barcio bysus gwyliau mewn man sydd wedi ei adnabod yn ardal Cei Llechi o'r dref.

Gwynedd Council is looking to commission a consultants to undertake the work of creating a feasibility study on coach bus parking at an identified area of Cei Llechi, Caernarfon.

-penodi pencampwyr foesegol Gwrth-gaethwasiaeth a Chyflogaeth Foesegol ar lefel Aelod Cabinet

-Polisi canu'r gloch ar gyfer staff i godi amheuon o arferion cyflogaeth anghyfreithlon ac anfoesegol sy'n

digwydd a pwynt cyswllt i'r cyhoedd i godi unrhyw bryderon o'r fath mewn perthynas a'r gadwyn gyflenwi

-Hyfforddiant i'r rhai sydd yn ymwneud a phrynu/caffael neu recriwtio mewn caethwasiaeth fodern ac arferion

Ymarfer

Mi fydd unrhyw gynnydd pellach gan y Cyngor ar ymrwymiadau'r Côd yn cael ei gynnwys yn ein datganiad

blynyddol.

Er mwyn i'r Côd Ymarfer gael yr effaith eithaf ar gyflogaeth foesegol mewn cadwyni cyflenwi, bydd Cyngor

Gwynedd yn disgwyl i bob un o'i gyflenwyr (a chadwyni cyflenwi dilynol) ymdrechu i roi prosesau tebyg yn eu

lle er mwyn sicrhau nad oes unrhyw unigolyn yn dioddef unrhyw fath o wahaniaethu ar sail cyflogaeth.

Gwynedd Cuncil, in support of Welsh Government's Code of Practice on Ethical emplyment in supply chains,

confirms that it has and/commits to put the folloiwng processes in place;-

-An ethical employment statement to be displayed on the Council website

- Appointment of an Anti-slavery and Ethical Employment Champion at Cabinet level.

-Whistle-blowing policy for staff to raise suspicions of unlawful and unethical employment practices taking

place and a point of contact for the public to raise any such concerns in telation to the supply chain.

-Training for those involved in buying/procurement or recritment in modern slavery and ethical emplyment

practices via Welsh Government's e-module.

-Incorporation of the Council's Ethical employment statement within procurement documentation as well as

inclusion of questions associated within tenders and conditions of contract where appropiate.

-Payment of our suppliers on time (within 30 days)

- No unfair use of false self-emplyyement, umbrella schemes or zero hours contracts which would result in

avoidance of Tax/National Insurance or in any way unduly disadvantage its workers in terms of pay, rights,

opportunities.

-Staff to hace accesss to a Trade Union without risk of any form of discrimination

-Any staff on outsourced contracts to retain their terms and conditions of emplyment

- An annual written statement outlining progress on principles within the code, including Modern Slavery, and

plans for any future action to demonstrate the Council's annual statement

Further progress on any remaining commitments will be identifies within the Council's annual statement.

In oreder for the Code of Practice to have the utmost impact on ethical emplyment in supply chains, Gwynedd

Cuncil will expect that all its suppliers (and subsequent supply chains) make efforts to put in place similar

processes so as to ensure that no individual is subject to any form of employment discrimination.
