Abstract

Braeval Street Studios, Rear of 11-13 Braeval Street (hereafter Braeval Street), in partnership with Arts Council Wales, wishes to commission an an architect with experience of community, art or cultural projects to undertake a feasibility study to consider the viability of a change of use to community asset in respect of Braeval Street. Minimum standards and qualification required

Employers’ liability coverage with a limit of indemnity of not less than £10,000,000 any one occurrence. (If the contractor / consultant is one person and they do not employ anyone else, then Employers’ liability coverage is not required).

• Public liability coverage with an indemnity limit of not less than £2,000,000 any one event.

• Professional indemnity coverage minimum £250,000 any one occurrence.

Confirming that the company/practice has full insurance cover; abides by health and safety and equal opportunities best practice; and is financially stable are essential requirements.

Additional Information

Pam is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation that provides artist and community development, and support for community-led projects. It is supported through Arts Council Wales, UK trusts and foundations, and a small amount of generated income. It works directly with local communities to assist in the development and implementation of projects that benefit the local area.

The project has received funding from the Capital Development scheme, through Arts Council Wales. Capital Development is a fund for arts organisations in Wales to develop opportunities and sustainability in the arts, through the purchase of buildings and equipment.
