Abstract

The works are located on a narrow residential road referred to as Nant y Felin in the village of Llanfairfechan. The works comprise of two main elements of works. The first section of works involves lining of an existing culvert with a Cured in Place Plastic liner (CIPP), installing a new headwall and remediation to an existing inlet headwall. There will also be some element of surfacing and the creation of speed cushions. The second element of the works involves installing a new carrier towards an existing outlet into the river using Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD). The Contractor will be required to provide a CCTV Inspection survey and report upon completion of the work to ensure successful installation and that all inlets and outlets have been correctly positioned.
