Reinstallation for Pre-Sorting Monorail System at Glan Clwyd Laundry

Description of the goods or services required

NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Laundry Service NWSSP Laundry Services invites qualified and experienced contractors to submit proposals for the recommissioning of the Pre-Sort Monorail System at Glan Clwyd Laundry. The monorail system is designed to hold unsorted dirty linen in the air, facilitating efficient sorting operations. The successful bidder will be responsible for fitting the purchased parts, ensuring the system's functionality without disrupting production.

All works must be carried out by a competent person who must follow the on site rules set out in the site induction. The contractor must provide the laundry teams with the associated risk assessment and method statement before work can commence on site.

All work must be successfully commissioned on completion of the work.

The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:

a. Installation of purchased monorail system components.

b. Commissioning and testing of the entire monorail system.

c. Development and provision of a fixed grid underneath the sort system to prevent bags from falling on operators below.

d. Creation of a detailed project implementation plan.

e. Ensuring minimal disruption to laundry production during the implementation.

f. 95 square meters of under guarding beneath the system where there are full bags moving. The guarding must be designed to allow engineers to walk across the system for maintenance activities.
