Description of the goods or services required

To carry out refurbishment works externally which will prevent further water ingress into the building through the rooflights and masonry elevation.

The form of Contract for this Scheme will be NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contract, Option A: Priced Contract with Activity Schedule, June 2017. Conditions of Contract are the core clauses for main Option A, dispute resolution Option W2 and secondary Options X2, X4, X7, X13, X15, X16, X20 Y(UK)2 and Z Clauses.

Total quantity or scope of tender

To carry out refurbishment works externally which will prevent further water ingress into the building through the rooflights and masonry elevation.

To remove existing features such as pigeon nets, fragile roof in lightwell, vegetation and trees to enable access to carry out the works.

To install new pigeon netting and roof within lightwell

To carry out repairs and redecoration internally to rectify water damaged areas.

To design and erect a scaffold to carry out the works with minimal impact on neighbouring properties.

To carry out minor internal alterations to satisfy the Building Control Officer.

The design is complete through RIBA Stage 4 and Full Listed Building Consent is in place.

To comply with Conditions applicable to Consented Planning Application 0/50755.

To comply with conditions arising from discussions with neighbouring properties to provide access through or over their property.

The contractor is required to complete the Manufacturing, Construction and Handover of the project through RIBA Stages 5 & 6, providing temporary works strategies and as built information as required and in full compliance with the Tender Information provided.
