Abstract

The Council has secured grant funding, through the Brilliant basics Fund from the Welsh Government, and capital funding to improve parking at the car park at Porthkerry and provide a better visitor experience. Porthkerry Country Park is a busy tourist destination and the works are located adjacent to the main pedestrian entrance from the car park. The works in this tender include supplying and installing reinforced geotextile to surfacing to provide much needed, all year round parking for this busy country park. Tenders are sought from experienced contractors to implement the works to upgrade the entrance area. The site is open for the contractor to visit at any time. It is recommended that the Contractor identifies themselves to staff in the reception area when visiting the site during office hours.
