West Wales Care and Repair is a subsidiary of ateb group and a not-for-profit organisation providing advice and practical services to older people across Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. West Wales Care and Repair receives grant funding from Welsh Government and Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion County Councils to provide a range of services including rapid response adaptations, casework and handyperson services.

West Wales Care and Repair has its own Board who, with the Agency Manager and ateb’s Executive Directors, identify and agree the strategic priorities for the Agency’s 5-year business plan.

West Wales Care and Repair’s Board and executive management recognise that income generation is a key priority for the Agency together with identifying new opportunities to support older people across the two counties.

West Wales Care and Repair are looking for a consultant to support the development of new business opportunities for West Wales Care and Repair.

This will include developing and maintaining key relationships with prospective customers and developing and implementing sustainable business development and marketing strategies to achieve growth targets. The successful person will support the West Wales Care and Repair Team in implementing business growth initiatives.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The successful person will be required to:-

• Develop a range of engagement opportunities e.g. focus groups, surveys, workshops with stakeholders and prospective customers across Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion for market research

•Develop and implement a marketing strategy for West Wales Care and Repair.

•Develop a detailed 5-year business growth and development plan with costs including projected income, expenditure and profit.

•Present business growth and development plan to West Wales Care and Repair’s Board for approval.

•Support the Agency Manager in the delivery of the business growth and development plan e,g, grant funding applications, business modelling etc
