Abstract

Wrexham Country Borough Council are looking to engage with the market in advance of procuring a cloud based email and web filtering platform for our 2500 users. Email Filtering Background We currently have an on-premise email filtering solution and will shortly have completed migrating all mailboxes to O365. We have approx. 2750 user mailboxes, 800 shared mailboxes and have approx. 2500 actual users. Requirements - It must be a cloud based solution so that there isn’t a reliance on any on-premise infrastructure and must be able integrate with Azure AD for authentication. - It must be able to allow users to view and release their quarantined email from their own mailbox and any shared mailboxes they have access to. - It must have the capability to protect our VIP users against whaling. - It must include threat protection including link protection (e.g url rewriting) and attachment protection (e.g sandboxing) - It must have easy use of administration - We are also interested if the solution can offer secure mail, large file transfer and any phishing attack simulation/training. Web Filtering Background We currently have an on-premise web filtering solution, to be able to filter web traffic currently devices need to be connected to the corporate network. We have approx. 2300 PC devices and 2000 mobile devices. Requirements - It must be a cloud based solution so that there isn’t a reliance on any on-premise infrastructure and must be able integrate with Azure AD for authentication for corporate users. - There is requirement for us to provide the public with loan devices; either PC’s or mobile devices. These devices wont be connected to the corporate domain or network.
