Tree Condition Surveys - External Clients Only

Contractors will undertake tree condition surveys for external clients only across South Wales.

Where a ground inspection is required, the contractor shall arrange for a careful basic visual tree inspection by a competent person from ground level. The contractor will ensure that particular attention to the general health and condition of the tree, any evidence of decay, features of concern and weaknesses at the base and in the main forks, any evidence of poor anchorage and instability and any other observations concerning the tree and its environs which could affect the future of the tree and any adjacent structures and features.

The Councils may require the use of decay detecting equipment to ascertain the extent of internal decay

Where a full inspection is required, the Contractor shall arrange for a detailed ground and climbing inspection of the tree to be carried out.

Up to 5 contractors will be awarded onto the Lot
