The Gwynedd Council Highways and Municipal Plant Hire with Operative

Description of the goods or services required

Gwynedd Council’s Highways and Municipal Service wishes establish set up a Framework Agreement for the Hire of General Plant and Equipment with one of several Plant Hire Supplier.

The attached schedules specifies the types of services and goods required and details the calling off arrangements within the 5 designated Lots which are;

A. Arfon Geographical Area including the A55 Mona Area.

D. Dwyfor Geographical Area.

M1. Meirionnydd Geographical Area.

M2. Meirionnydd Geographical Area.

M3. Meirionnydd Geographical Area.

For each Lot there will be 6 sub lots for each General Plant and Equipment the full list can be seen in the Schedule of Rates.

The overall estimated value of the entire Services for the Framework Agreement is approximately £500K. Please note the total amount are indicative and can change due to budget constraints.

The Authority is conducting the procurement using the open procedure in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102) (PCR 2015) for the purpose of procuring the services.

The initial Service period for the contract is 24 months from the start date, the Client reserve the right to extent the contract for further 12months + 12 months intervals up to 4 years in total. (2+1+1)
