Conwy County Borough Council wishes to appoint a number of suitable Suppliers to create and run Pathways into Employment courses as described in the specification documents and relevant appendix / Lot details in the tender pack.

Total quantity or scope of tender
The range of Pathways into Employment courses will focus on upskilling individuals to enter the job market or gain experience and/or qualifications to gain better quality, sustainable employment in a range of key and growth sectors across Conwy county.
They will include job specific training and all courses will focus on increasing confidence, resilience well-being, team building and employability skills. Courses will also include the completion of CVs/application forms, interview skills and sector specific accredited qualifications and basic IT skills.
It is anticipated that the following Pathways into Employment courses will be delivered as part of the project:
- Pathway into Security
- Upskilling in Security (CCTV)
- Pathway into Hospitality & Tourism
- Pathway into Construction
- Pathway to Digital Literacy
- Pathway into De Carbonisation - (Modular Housing)
- Pathway into Business

Lot 4 Construction and Lot 1 SIA Door Supervisor
Please note the following amendments to Lot 1 and Lot 4
Lot 4 Construction, section i) should now read :
“ i) They will need to be able to deliver the course over the period starting January 2024 to November 2024*) to a minimum of 6 delegates and maximum of 10. It’s the intention that a minimum number of 58 delegates will receive this training over the period stated.”
Lot 1 SIA door supervisor
Section f should now read:
“ f) They will need to be able to deliver the course on a monthly basis (starting January 2024 to November 2024*) to a minimum of 5 delegates and maximum of 10. It’s the intention that a minimum number of 70 delegates will receive this training over the period stated.”
