Cadw - Fleet Vans Welfare Conversions

Description of the goods or services required

Cadw (meaning ‘to keep’), is the Welsh Government’s Historic Environment Service. It serves to protect our historic places so they can continue to inspire generations to come.

Cadw have a dedicated team of Stonemasons and Joiners, known as Cadwraeth (meaning ‘Conservation’), that work in regional teams across Wales to conserve and maintain the 130+ historic monuments in Cadw’s care.

As part of the Welsh Governments commitment to net zero carbon status within the public sector by 2030, Cadw are renewing their fleet of currently petrol and diesel vehicles, to all electric vehicles.

An element of this fleet renewal includes the purchase of five Ford E-Transit vehicles. The Client wishes to procure the services of a company to convert these five vehicles to Welfare vehicles.
