This invitation to tender is based upon the provision of both Project Management and Quantity Surveying services to be carried out by chartered professionals for the proposed refurbishment project at Rock UK Summit Centre. The project is at inception.

This tender is for the management of the project and costs from inception to end of defects and the projects will follow the RIBA plan of works. Progress will be subject to grant funds being made available.

Rock UK is at the early stages of fundraising, and we have engaged with several funders who are initially very positive about supporting the project.

Total quantity or scope of tender

The project will include the demolition of the internal climbing wall structure, installation of a new climbing wall and ancillary works. The new wall will be to international competition standards and include an Olympic standard speed climbing wall, lead walls and additional bouldering capacity to IFSC standards. (Rock UK will advise on suitable climbing wall manufacturers) Adjacent to the climbing wall internal modifications are planned for the café area.

The total value of the project is anticipated to be £1.2M
