25/09/2022 15:12	Note on suggested specifications The suggested equipment list/specifications in the tender documents allow bidders to price on a like-for-like basis. We suggest that all bidders, as a minimum, submit pricing based upon the suggested specifications. However, the equipment list is not definitive (it was pulled together primarily to allow electrical loading calculations to be confirmed) and therefore bidders are encouraged to make recommendations and submit pricing for optional alternatives based upon their experience and manufacturer relationships.

10/10/2022 10:13	Clarifications Please note the following: 1. you should include for delivery and installation of all equipment specified on the schedules. Assume that electrical and mechanical services are within 1 metre. This detail will need to be co-ordinated with the main M&E contractor in the detailed design phase. 2. It is assumed that the ventilation canopy in F04 will be wall-fixed with additional support from above via standard unistrut/thread bar drops. The ductwork connection will be suspended from unistrut in a similar way. The principal contractor shall be responsible for the installation of the unistrut to the ceiling soffits. You should allow for installation of the canopy and ductwork connection to the unistrut. 3. It has not been confirmed yet whether the kitchen will have a suspended "grid" ceiling. However, assuming it does, this means that you will need to install the canopy in advance of the ceiling grid being installed (but prior to any of the other equipment being delivered / installed). 4. For pricing, you can assume the canopy's overall width is 3200mm. This will require confirmation and site measurement at the detailed design stage. Height above floor can be set at an optimal position, as the room has a high ceiling of approximately 4 metres. 5. The main M&E contractor has advised that currently the ductwork connection they are presenting in F04 is 600x500mm.

10/10/2022 10:44	Walk-in refrigerator condenser Please note that our term "local condenser" refers to a condenser integral to the refrigerator unit, located within the kitchen F03. There is potentially an option to mount the condenser remotely, in a plant room directly below the kitchen, but this will require further discussion with the main M&E contractor. Therefore, please assume the condenser is integral in your pricing.
