Llanddulas to Kinmel Bay Coastal Defence Improvements - Ground Investigation

Description of the goods or services required

Conwy County Borough Council (hereinafter referred to as the Client) require an intrusive Ground Investigation to be undertaken between Llanddulas and Kinmel Bay. The investigation is required to inform the detailed design of an improvement to the existing coastal defence and public realm infrastructure in this location. The investigation will take place both landward and seaward of the mean high water spring tidal level and an element of tidal working is required.

The Client has acquired a Marine Licence for part of this investigation, a copy of which is included within the supporting documents. It will be the responsibility of the council to advise the successful tenderer to ensure the conditions of this license will be adhered to / met in full.

The form of Contract for the investigation is the NEC4 Professional Services Short Contract, Option B dated June 2017. The works will be undertaken for the total lump sum provided in the Price List.
