Abstract

Natural Resources Wales has a statutory duty to undertake monitoring of environmental matrices including soils, sediments and biota utilising various instrumental. To ensure excellent data quality samples require homogenisation prior to extraction and analysis. The homogenate obtained will be examined for a wide range of compounds to comply with the requirements of the Water Framework Directive plus other associated environmental directives (e.g. EQSD). The equipment shall comprise of an automated benchtop Ball Mill Homogenizer.

Natural Resources Wales has a statutory duty to undertake monitoring of environmental matrices including soils, sediments and biota utilising various instrumental. To ensure excellent data quality samples require homogenisation prior to extraction and analysis. The homogenate obtained will be examined for a wide range of compounds to comply with the requirements of the Water Framework Directive plus other associated environmental directives (e.g. EQSD). The equipment shall comprise of an automated benchtop Ball Mill Homogenizer.
