To assist the Council in assessing Specification compliance, the Council may require a Tenderer to provide a demonstrator vehicle. Demonstrator vehicles shall be provided at no cost to the Council and must be sufficiently similar to the vehicle offered by the Tenderer to allow for an assessment of Specification compliance

The technical specifications and/or standards detailed in the Conditions of Contract, Schedules and Special Conditions of Contract are those with which the Goods must at a minimum comply.
Any items offered that do not fully comply with the Specification, must be specified in Table 1 (Non-Compliant Items) overleaf. The reasons for the potential non-compliance must also be stated.
Where Tenderers consider that any items offered do not fully meet the Specification, a remedy or an alternative item may be offered as a variation. Tenderers shall ensure that any cost implications associated with variations are included in the total net price of the Vehicle, stated in the relevant Pricing Schedule (Annex 6).

3. Responding to the invitation to tender:
— You can now choose to “Reply” or “Reject” (please give a reason if rejecting).
— You can now use the “Messages” function to communicate with the buyer and seek any clarification.
— Note the deadline for completion, then follow the onscreen instructions to complete the ITT.
