Description of the goods or services required
Research, Engagement & Innovation Services (REIS) is the Professional Services department within Swansea University charged with supporting University staff to build collaborative research projects with partners and to scope funding applications for submission to the funding bodies. REIS assists with the initial scoping and submission of funding bids, and on success, monitoring the delivery, reporting on the outcomes and supporting the closure of projects on completion.
REIS now has a requirement for software to control its portfolio of projects that fit into the remit. Complete workflow, including tracking of communication, disclosures, Intellectual property and related legal documentation, licences and associated documents for spinouts, the software will be required to monitor and document the workflow for IP related projects and these projects will add economic and work value to the community. By carefully tracking the process for product management and knowledge transfer, benefits can be monitored more easily and impact to long term benefits be seen more easily.
The contract duration will be for an initial 2 years with the option to extend for an additional 2 years on an annual basis (2+1+1).
The software license will be of an unlimited format. A maximum of 30 (thirty) users.
